The composition In 1 ml of the injection solution contains: 200 mg of sodium thiosulfate, 22 mg of sodium glutamate, excipients and solvent.
Application
The drug is used in animals as an antidote and hepatoprotector for poisoning with heavy metal compounds, arsenic, cyanides, nitrates, nitrites, iodine and bromine salts, as well as for mycotoxicosis and toxicosis of pregnant women. The drug is used in complex therapy for the treatment of metabolic disorders, liver functions (hepatic coma), as well as for uremic syndrome, allergic dermatitis, eczema, acetonuria, acidosis, agalactia, anorexia, pododermatitis, neuritis, gastroenteritis, endometritis, mastitis and other diseases accompanied by toxic phenomena.
The drug is administered intravenously, intramuscularly, subcutaneously or intraperitoneally once a day until recovery in the following doses:
- horses and cattle - 30-40 ml per animal;
- pigs, sheep, goats - 20-30 ml per animal;
- for dogs - 5-15 ml per animal;
- cats, rabbits, minks - 3-5 ml per animal;
- guinea pigs, chinchillas, hamsters - 0.5-1.5 ml per animal.
If necessary (in severe cases of the disease), the frequency of administration of the drug should be doubled.
Waiting period Livestock products are used without restrictions.
