Instructions for use Agiflay 400 g for veterinary surveillance facilities

Veterinary agent "Agiflay" is intended for the destruction of flies, cockroaches, fleas and other arthropods in livestock premises and other objects of veterinary supervision.

General information

1.1. insecticidal agent Agiflay (hereinafter referred to as the agent) — a fine crystalline powder from white to cream color, containing as an active substance in 1 g: Imidacloprid — 150 mg, and as auxiliary substances — powdered sugar, starch, tricosene and lactose. Packaging: Packed in 25, 100 and 400 g in plastic bags and 100 and 400 g in polymer cans of appropriate capacity, capped with plastic lids with first opening control.

1.2. Imidacloprid, which is part of the product, is a compound from the group of neonicotinoids, has a contact and intestinal insecticidal effect, is active against flies, fleas, cockroaches and other arthropods living in livestock premises, including those resistant to organophosphorus insecticides, pyrethroids and carbamates. Imidacloprid is an antagonist of n-acetylcholine receptors, causing the hyperpolarization activated membrane nerve fibers insects and leads to prolonged opening of sodium channels. The sexual pheromone of flies-9-CIS-tricosene ensures the attraction of flies. The residual insecticidal effect of the product on surfaces, depending on the treatment method and surface type, lasts 4 to 8 weeks. According to the degree of impact on the body, the product belongs to moderately dangerous substances (hazard class 3 according to GOST 12.1.007-76). The product does not irritate the skin and conjunctiva of the eye, does not have sensitizing activity. The product is toxic to fish and bees.

Application procedure

2.1. to prepare the working solution, the product is diluted in an appropriate amount of water at room temperature. The working solution can be used in different ways.
Surface treatment by applying brush strokes.
The working solution of the product is prepared in a separate container, mixed with water, at the rate of 400 g of the product per 0.32 l of water and mixed until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. On the surface, the prepared solution is applied with a brush, smears (at least 30 strips of 10X30 cm in size). The amount of solution is calculated for processing a room with a floor area of 160 m2 .
When using a 100 g package, the product is mixed with water at the rate of 100 g of the product per 0.08 l of water. On the surface, the prepared solution is applied with a brush, smears (at least 8 strips of 10X30 cm in size). The amount of solution is calculated for processing a room with a floor area of 40 m2 .
When using a 25 g package, the product is mixed with water at the rate of 25 g of the product per 0.02 l of water. On the surface, the prepared solution is applied with a brush, smears (at least 2 strips of size 10X30 cm). The amount of solution is calculated for processing a room with a floor area of 10 m2 .
The duration of insecticidal action with this method of applying the product is 6 to 8 weeks.
Surface treatment by spraying.
The working solution of the product is prepared in the container of the spraying device. With careful mixing, dissolve 400 g of the product in 3.2 liters of water. Working solution is treated with at least 30% of the surface area of the walls and ceiling. The amount of solution is calculated for processing a room with a floor area of 160 m2 .
When using the package, 100 g of the product is dissolved in 0.8 liters of water with careful mixing. The amount of solution is calculated for processing a room with a floor area of 40 m2 .
When using the package, 25 g of the product is dissolved in 0.2 l of water with careful mixing. The amount of solution is calculated for processing a room with a floor area of 10 m2 .
The duration of insecticidal action of the agent with this method of treatment is 4 to 6 weeks.
Working solution selectively treat surfaces preferred by insects (warm Sunny walls, window frames, lampshades).
In places unsuitable for applying the product, or where its application is undesirable, hang strips of cardboard or plastic tape, pre-treated with a working solution of insecticide.
In pigsties, the wall surface should be sprayed at a height above 1.5 m, and on farms for cattle-above 2 m.

2.2. The tool should not be applied on dirty, highly porous or freshly painted surface. The prepared solution of the product must be used within one working day. If the treatment process has been suspended for more than 30 minutes, the solution should be re-mixed before use. At the time of processing, animals are removed from the premises, the remains of feed, water and dairy equipment are removed, the milking equipment is covered with a plastic film, and eggs are collected in poultry houses. Entering animals into the room is allowed after complete drying of the treated surfaces.

PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES

3.1. All types of work with the product and its solutions must be carried out in special clothing (dust mask, dressing gown, headdress, rubber gloves, boots). After work, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and rinse your mouth with water.

3.2. when preparing and applying working solutions of the product, avoid dusting and getting the powder or solution on the skin, eyes and respiratory organs; it is forbidden to eat, drink and smoke.

3.3. it is Forbidden to handle feeders and drinkers, surfaces with which food, feed and animals will come into contact. All work with the product is carried out by veterinary specialists or persons trained to work safely with insecticides. Persons under 18 years of age and persons suffering from allergic diseases are not allowed to work with the product.

3.4. Unused solution is disposed of in specially designated areas, away from water sources and grazing areas. Empty containers from under the product must not be used for household purposes, it must be disposed of with household waste.

FIRST AID MEASURES FOR POISONING

In case of spillage of the powder, it should be swept off the surface and then this place, liberally moistened with water, thoroughly washed. If the powder or its solution enters the respiratory tract, the victim should immediately be taken out to fresh air and seek medical attention. In case of accidental contact with the skin or mucous membranes of the eyes, they should be immediately washed with plenty of water. TRANSPORTATION, STORAGE

5.2. Store the product in the closed packaging of the manufacturer, away from heating devices and open fire, in a place protected from direct sunlight, separately from food and feed at a temperature of minus 20 °C to plus 45 °C.
