The science behind Digestar®: the mechanism of action

Stressful factors such as weaning, changing the diet, environmental conditions or content can lead to great appetite, suboptimal digestion and inadequate use of nutrients.

In addition, Digestar® influences the absorption and utilization of feed nutrients, promoting digestibility and efficient digestion of feed.

Current research at the cellular level has shown that Digestar® inhibits the transcription factor NF-κB, which induces inflammatory processes in the intestine. Simultaneously, Digestar® activates the transcription factor Nrf2, which is responsible for the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity in the body.
