Decta-2 is prescribed to dogs and cats with a curative and prophylactic purpose for acute and chronic ophthalmic diseases of bacterial etiology, including conjunctivitis, blepharitis, keratitis, keratoconjunctivitis, iridocyclitis, as well as for the prevention of eye diseases after injuries and foreign bodies, in eye surgery - in preoperative and postoperative periods.
Trade name of the medicinal product: Decta-2 (Decta-2). International nonproprietary name: gentamicin, dexamethasone. 2. Dosage form: eye drops. Dekt-2 as active ingredients in 1 ml contains: gentamycin sulfate - 5 mg and dexamethasone sodium phosphate - 1 mg, and also auxiliary substances: benzyl alcohol - 9 mg, polyvinylpyrrolidone - 14 mg, sodium chloride - 9 mg and water for injections - up to 1 ml. In appearance, Dekta-2 is a colorless, transparent, slightly opalescent, liquid. 3. Let out the preparation prepacked on 5, 10, 15, 20 and 30 ml in sterile polymeric bottles with a cap-dropper. Vials are individually packed in cardboard packs complete with instructions for use. 4. Store the preparation in the manufacturer's closed packaging, in a dry, dark place, separate from food and feed, at temperatures from 0 0С to 25 0С. Shelf life of the medicinal product under the conditions of storage in the manufacturer's closed packaging is 2 years from the date of manufacture, after the first opening of the bottle, 10 days. Do not use the drug after the expiration date. 5. Keep Deco-2 in a place inaccessible to children. 6. Dispose of unused product in accordance with legal requirements.
