Mastimax
The drug is used for the treatment of cows during lactation, patients with clinical and subclinical mastitis caused by microorganisms sensitive to the components of the drug.
Spectrum of action
The active ingredients of the drug act synergistically.
The drug has a high antimicrobial activity against staphylococci (including strains resistant to penicillin, S. aureus), streptococci (S. agalactiae, S. uberis, S. dysgalactiae), corinobacteria (Corynebacterium pyogenes), esherichia (E. coli), leech (Proteus vulgaris), pathogenic anaerobes (Clostridium perfringens) and other bacteria that cause mastitis.
Composition
One dose (8 g) contains: 100 mg of procaine benzylpenicillin (novocaine salt); 125 mg dihydrostreptomycin sulfate; 150 mg neomycin sulfate; 75 mg dioxidine; 1 mg of dexamethasone sodium phosphate; excipients (polysorbate 80, budylhydroxytouol) and an oil base (liquid paraffin, petroleum jelly).
Application
The drug is administered intracisternally to 8 g (contents of 1 syringe dispenser or 9 ml of a vial) once a day, for 3-5 days

Storage conditions
